I was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, U.S.A., and lived there for the majority of my life. I became interested in drawing early on, trying to imitate comic books and action figures and eventually creating my own. Over the years, I grew to embrace digital art and design as well as other art genres such as Pop Art, Bauhaus, and Street Art to name a few.

In 2002, I earned my B.A. in Studio Art from Bloomsburg University and then in 2005, my M.F.A. in Painting from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

All I wanted to do was make art and teach it, and I did so for a while. I taught some foundation art courses at Marywood University and Misericordia University for a few years while simultaneously being the gallery coordinator for Haas Gallery of Art at Bloomsburg University. I have exhibited my work at Millersville University, Lock Haven University, Clarion University, the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, The University of the Arts, Maryland Art Place in Baltimore, and the Gwangju Museum of Art in South Korea.

For a slight change of direction, I decided to enroll in Bloomsburg Univerity and earn my M.S. in Instructional Technology. This was a way to blend my creative abilities with my technical side to create eLearning and other digital training solutions.

I currently live in the greater Indianapolis area with my wife, two daughters, twin boys, and our golden doodle. I don’t like to confine myself to one particular medium, so I do all sorts of things, like graphic design, photography, eLearning, video, and fine art (so fine). I even know a little about front-end web development. In addition to freelancing, during the day I manage a team of multimedia developers where we create interactive training.
